Greenburgh Police: 27-Year-Old Hartsdale Woman Hit by Car

The woman suffered serious injuries in the Tuesday accident on East Hartsdale Avenue. Her identity has not been disclosed.

A 27-year-old Hartsdale woman is the pedestrian who was hit by a car Tuesday afternoon on East Hartsdale Avenue in Greenburgh, according to authorities.

The woman suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident, which occurred while she was out walking her dog, writes The Journal News. Her identity has not been disclosed; she was taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla for treatment. The woman’s dog was taken to a local veterinarian’s office.

Police closed a section of the road for several hours while they investigated the incident. The driver reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
