Greenburgh To Require Masks In Town Buildings, Meetings
The supervisor said the reason is because the number of cases is going up again.
GREENBURGH, NY — The town of Greenburgh is going to require masks to be worn in all town-owned buildings.
The decision affects the 7:30 p.m. Town Board meeting Wednesday.
Supervisor Paul Feiner said the requirement is because COVID-19 cases continue to rise.

"We know that most people hate masks," he said. "Some employees and residents have compromised immune systems."
Feiner said that if they get the virus it could not only be very dangerous, but also possible fatal.

"We want to keep everyone who works in a Greenburgh building and visitor to Town Hall safe," he said.
