Man, 71, Took Naked Picture of 3-Year-Old: Police
The incident, which led to the Ossining man's arrested, occurred last weekend at the Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown.
Victor Weil, 71, of Ossining, was arrested this week following an incident where he is alleged to have taken a naked picture of 3-year-old child at the Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown, according to Greenburgh Police.
The family of the child and Weil were separate guests at the hotel last weekend when the incident took place near the pool.
Weil was charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance, a felony, after he was spotted first taking pictures with his iPad of children by the pool.

According to Greenburgh Police, Weil’s taking pictures alarmed the parents who confronted him about his actions.
“[Hotel] Security was called and Weil agreed to delete the photos from his iPad,” said Greenburgh Police in a statement. “In the process of doing so, [hotel] security as well as some parents observed photos of a naked 3-year-old child and Police were called.”

Weil was detained, for investigative purposes, however, “do to a medical condition he was transported by Greenburgh EMS to Westchester County Medical Center.”
Police said the naked photo appeared to be of a child who had “just been changed by the parent when he appeared naked at the slider door of the room which is on the ground floor facing the pool area.”
It was at this time Weil, who was in the balcony area for the child’s room in front of the closed slider door, photographed the child.
Weil surrendered to Greenburgh Police on Thursday and was arraigned and remanded to Westchester County Jail, where bail was set at $5000.00 cash/$1000.00 bond.
