Meet the Wednesday Art Club at Tarrytown's Neighborhood House

Meet a few of the senior citizen artists, exhibiting a slew of different styles, who gather weekly to make art and enjoy camaraderie and instruction in this sunny room at the Neighborhood House.

Their efforts will fill the hallway walls at an annual show at the Warner Library in July. Stay tuned.

The Neighborhood House, is according to their website, "a gathering place where all are welcome.  We serve as the base for numerous daytime activities, geared mainly toward older community residents in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and all surrounding communities."

It's also fresh off its 100-year anniversary, serving our area since 1912.

The Wednesday Art Workshop is free and open to anyone interested from 1 to 3 p.m. All levels are welcome, and there is often a teacher or guest artist.

Learn about this and other ongoing events at the Neighborhood House here.
