MHA Westchester Welcomes Charlotte Ostman

Ostman expected to be a tremendous asset in her position as Chief Strategy Officer of the Mental Health Association of Westchester County.

The Mental Health Association of Westchester County (MHA), a leading nonprofit community mental health agency serving more than 25,000 people, announced the appointment of Charlotte Ostman as Chief Strategy Officer.

After earning her B.S. at Cornell and an MSW at NYU, Charlotte worked with a wide variety of populations and health care systems throughout the Hudson Valley. Charlotte managed a large FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) and most recently, developed a small health clinic into a significant community health care center.

CEO Amy Kohn feels Ms. Ostman’s experience is well-suited to meet the challenges posed by integrating New York State’s healthcare reform initiatives, saying: “Charlotte’s strong project management skills will be a huge asset as we begin to execute large strategic initiatives related to DSRIP, Health Homes, HARPs and the continued transition to Managed Care.”
