Morse Field Trip: Exploring Beekman

So much for the first graders to see and do one one street.

Ten classes of Morse first graders took a field trip...all the way to Beekman. Though they may not have gone far, they saw much during their many short stops up and down Sleepy Hollow's main avenue. Ten classes, 10 stops for about 20 minutes each. Go!

  • Morse School Library with Guest Readers from the
  • Morse Recycling Center-with reusable bags provided by Stop and Shop

Parent Bev Lacy who went along on the trip and provided these photos said, "As far as highlights, the children loved the day, learned about the community, the importance of recycling, we're awed by the K-9 Unit, and loved the ice cream donated by Main Street Sweets."
