New Water Pipe To Be Installed In Tarrytown

TARRYTOWN, NY — The Village of Tarrytown will be installing a new water pipe that will improve water service to residents in the Crest Avenue area. The project is expected to start in February and be completed in October, pending weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Officials said efforts to accelerate the work to install the 3,400 feet of pipe will be made where possible.

Streets that will be affected by construction include Irving, Sunnyside and Kerwin, as well as surrounding streets such as Neperan and Union.

Residents will be notified of extended periods of service disruption, if any, public works officials said.
