One day longer than usual to pay taxes--town,county taxes due May 1

Because April 30th falls on a holiday you have an extra day

You have an extra day to pay your county/town/fire district taxes
Usually, county, town and fire district taxes are due on April 30th. But, this year April 30th falls on a Sunday so you have till Monday night. The Receiver of Taxes office, according to Receiver Venita Howard, will be open till 7 PM. The office is located at Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Ave, White Plains. You can also pay on line. Please pay on time---if you pay on May 2nd there is a penalty.
