OnTrack: Tie for Readers' Choice Best Rainy Day Venue

It was a tight race and remained so until the end, so we have to declare it a tie for between Tarrytown's and catching a movie at . Both received 20 percent of the votes.

Congrats to our local indoor sports center with its batting cages, soccer, birthday parties and all the fun entertainment it has to offer (and better health than a movie and popcorn, we might add).

Second place goes to another movie theater, the in Peekskill with 12 percent.

We hope our poll didn't have anything to do with it, but it was indeed a gray rainy week. Here's to hoping the holiday weekend will be sunnier!
