Out Of Prison, Felon Arrested For Carjacking

Police said he crashed the car, injuring himself and the carjacking victim.

TARRYTOWN, NY — A felon out on post-release supervision after serving time in prison for attempted burglary was arrested in regard to a carjacking Thursday in Tarrytown. Stanley Martinez, 29, of Sleepy Hollow, was taken into custody after crashing the stolen car and injuring both himself and the victim of the carjacking.

The carjacking was reported around 8:50 p.m. Thursday near the McDonald’s on Wildey Street, the Journal News said.

Martinez was charged with felony robbery and grand larceny.
