Overnight Lanes Closures Required for TZB Friday
The toll plaza structure is completely down; striping will be done on the Rockland side.
The former toll plaza in Tarrytown on the New York State Thruway has been completely removed, according to information from the Thruway Authority.
The demolition of the the toll plaza structures followed the implementation of cashless tolls on the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Southbound/eastbound Thruway traffic will continue to use the four newly unobstructed lanes until late 2016.

Motorists taking the southbound exit 9 off-ramp should stay in the right lane, because there will be little time to merge from the left at highway speeds.
Striping on the southbound Thruway near exit 11 (Nyack-South Nyack-US Route 9W) to the bridge will take place overnight Friday and require a triple lane closure.

The schedule, provided by the Thruway Authority, is as follows:
Friday, June 3
- 8 p.m.—One left lane closed.
- 9 p.m.—Two left lanes closed.
- Midnight—Three left lanes closed.
Saturday, June 4
- 5 a.m.—Closures end
