• Taconic Opera's 2026 Annual Gala: Opera Goes to Church (thehudsonindependent.com subscription) — Taconic Opera's upcoming season will bring Beethoven's complete Ninth Symphony to the Tarrytown Music Hall as part of a three-program 2026–27 celebration. The company is funding this work through a September gala in White Plains, featuring church-themed opera scenes, honorees from Westchester, and tiered donation levels with online ticketing options.
