Paws Crossed Gets Grant From Phillips Charitable Foundation

The grant will enable the organization to rescue more pets this year.

ELMSFORD, NY — Paws Crossed announced Tuesday that it is the recipient of one of the first Marie Barth Grants from the Phillips Charitable Foundation, Inc. The grant’s purpose is to help strengthen an organization by alleviating a hurdle that will enable the organization to better achieve its mission.

Jennifer Angelucci, president and CEO of Paws Crossed Animal Rescue, said the $2,500 grant will help with its spay and neuter program.

“This gift will provide approximately 25 to 30 spays and neuters to orphaned pets, preparing them for their forever homes,” she said.

The grant will allow the organization to rescue more pets in 2018, and will result in more potential adoptions.

“In turn, more opportunities to educate the community on the importance of spaying and neutering your pet and the no-kill philosophy,” Angelucci said.
