ELMSFORD, NY — Paws Crossed Animal Rescue will be visited by a person who founded a charity organization whose goal is to help orphaned pets find forever homes.

Kris Rotonda and his Jordan's Way 50 State Tour will be at Paws Crossed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.

This four-hour event will be streamed live from Paws Crossed's Facebook page, with all donations going toward finding homes for the pets of the shelter.

Jordan's Way is named after Rotonda's dog Jordan who had spent much of her life in a shelter until he was able to rescue her.

Jordan died in 2018 of cancer and Rotonda made a promise to honor her life by helping as many shelters as possible.

Julie Potter, business and development director for Paws Crossed Animal Rescue, said she's been following Rotonda as he visited rescue organizations around the United States.

She said there will be lots of fun, great stories and many adoptable animals during the live stream event.

Jordan's Way's mission statement — to share meaningful animal welfare stories that inspire people to adopt — "aligns perfectly with our mission at Paws Crossed," Potter said.
