watch interview --link below a fantastic exhibit
A spectacular photo exhibit featuring the work of Howard Robinson is featured at our Greenburgh Town Hall art gallery. The exhibit is located on the first floor of Town Hall. If you plan to vote early for County Executive -vote and then take visit the gallery! An interview conducted by Miriam Bernabei with Howard Robinson (featuring his work) can be viewed on the link below.
Reminder: the Greenburgh Black History Museum committee will show their first exhibit today at a reception at the Greenburgh Library, Sunday Feb 2nd from 1 PM to 4 PM. We started working on creating a Black History Museum celebrating the historic role of the Black community in Greenburgh about a year ago. Cab Calloway, Vernon Jordan, Gordon Parks, Roy Campanella and many other nationally known Black leaders decided to make Greenburgh their home. Town & Country Magazine published a major article about Greenburgh a few years back. In about a week the exhibit will be moved to Greenburgh Town Hall. Thank you to the Fairview Empowerment Group for organizing this initiative.
