Police Allege Doctor Sexually Abused Patients
Dr. Makar Eskarous was arrested Thursday.

New City Dr. Makar Eskarous, 49, was arrested Thursday on charges that he sexually abused more than one patient, reports News 12.
Eskarous is alleged to have inappropriately touched at least three patients, most recently a woman, while in the presence of a child, on Oct. 13. The alleged incidents occurred at his facility in Spring Valley, Imhotep Medical Clinic on Main Street.
The Journal News reports that there may be more alleged victims who have yet to come forward. Anyone with additional information concerning Eskarous - or if you are or know of other victims - are urged to call Spring Valley police at (845) 346-7400.

Eskarous was being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
