Police Conduct Speed Enforcement on Sprain Parkway Monday

In an effort to ensure safety on New York roads, the State Police conducted a speed enforcement detail Monday on the Sprain Brook Parkway.

Thirty-five motorists were given tickets for going over the posted 55 mph speed limit, according to a release issued by the NYSP.

Police said another 15 were cited for various violations, including failing to move over for an emergency vehicle, hazardous lane changes and equipment violations.
