Police Find Man Asleep in Running Car, Arrested for Drunk Driving
The keys were in the ignition.

TARRYTOWN, NY - A Dutchess County man was arrested early Thursday in Tarrytown and charged with drunk driving.
State police said Joseph R. Berenguer, 31, of Poughquag was taken into custody after receiving a report of a disabled vehicle on I-87 near Exit 9 around 2:43 a.m.

When police got to the 2000 Honda Accord, they found Berenguer asleep behind the wheel. The keys were in the ignition and the motor was running.
He was found to be intoxicated.

Berenguer was taken to the Tarrytown barracks where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19 percent.
He faces a charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Berenguer was released on an appearance ticket to a sober third party to return to the Village of Tarrytown Court March 9.
