TARRYTOWN, NY — Motorists can expect more ramp closing on the Tappan Zee Bridge as work on the new bridge continues.

Tappan Zee Constructors LLC has started installing road deck panels for the new bridge’s Westchester approach, according to information from the Thruway Authority.

The authority said work associated with the new bridge’s bicycle and pedestrian path means closing the southbound New York State Thruway (I-87/I-287) exit 10 (Nyack-South Nyack-US Route 9W) on-ramp from South Broadway and Cornelison Avenue during the overnights of Monday, Aug. 1, Tuesday, Aug. 2 and Wednesday, Aug. 3.

The on-ramp closures will begin each night at 10 p.m. and reopen the following morning at 5 a.m.
