report acts of hate, bigotry --anti Asian hate crime in Yonkers

#SpeakupWestchester

An Asian woman in Yonkers was hit 125 times because she's Asian. See link below:https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/14/nyregion/yonkers-hate-crime-anti-asian-attack.html
We must not tolerate hate, bigotry against anyone, who is the victim because of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or disability. Please speak up. The county has launched an effort called #SpeakUpWestchester. Report all incidents of hate, bias.
#SpeakUpWestchester encourages those who are victims to
call 911 for emergency assistance.
Call the Greenburgh police for violent attacks if an incident occurs in Greenburgh.
Bias or prejudice--call the Westchester Human Rights Commission at 995-7710 or e mail HumanRights@Westchestergov.com. You can visit www.westchestergov.com/biasreporting to report anonymously.
For hate crimes or bias incidents call the District Attorneys office at 995-TIPS or visit www.WestchesterDA.net
The Greenburgh Human Rights Advisory Committee and Greenburgh Town Board has also been speaking up against bias/hate incidents. And we will do more.
The town of Greenburgh wants the Asian community that lives and works in the town to feel welcome and appreciated. I am sure that I speak for the overwhelming majority of Greenburgh residents who were disgusted when we read about the hate crime that took place in a neighboring community. We can't look the other way.
