  • Watch demonstrations of Colonial cooking, wool spinning, blacksmithing, children’s toys and more!
  • Learn about the role the historic Odell house (located on Ridge Road) played in the encampment and its restoration progress.
  • The town acquired the property and is working with the Friends of Odell House Rochambeau Headquarters turning this very historic property into a museum.

Click onto the link below for more information and to learn how you can support the efforts to turn unincorporated Greenburgh's most valuable historic property into a museum. We envision a 21st century interactive museum, educating and entertaining visitors and preserving our proud history. While the house is undergoing renovation the Friends have inventoried historic documents, furniture, fabrics and artifacts. Graduate students have helped catalog the documents. The Friends need funds, they need volunteers. They are doing an amazing job.
