Sen. Charles Schumer has demanded $660 million in emergency funds to fight drug problems in the lower Hudson Valley.
Schumer spoke at a substance abuse prevention agency in Tarrytown Tuesday, according to a report on FIOS1News.com.
He said prescription drug, opioid and heroin deaths in Westchester County increased by 115 percent from 2010 to 2013.
