Connecticut School System Chooses Former Tarrytown Superintendent as Head

Christopher Clouet left the Tarrytown public schools system in June.

The next superintendent of Shelton, CT, schools has been chosen and will begin Jan. 1.

According to an article in the Connecticut Post, Christopher Clouet, formerly head of the Tarrytown (NY) Union Free School District, will replace Freeman Burr, who resigned at the end of the 2014-15 school year.

Clouet, according to his LinkedIn account, is a consultant for BOCES of Southern Westchester.

He was the superintendent in Tarrytown form July 2013 to June 2015. Prior to that Clouet led the White Plains City School District in New York and the New London and Thomaston public schools in Connecticut.
