Sinking Tug Caught on Cellphone Video

A cellphone video of the tugboat Specialist sinking after hitting a construction barge in the Hudson River was obtained by FIOS1News.com.

The video was obtained from the attorney of Paul Amon, one of the three men who died in the crash.

Attorney James Forde spoke with FIOS1 about the video and his client.

The tugboat sank March 12, killing Amon, 63, of Bayville, New Jersey; Timothy Conklin, 29, of Westbury, Long Island, and Harry Hernandez, 56, of Staten Island.

The body of Hernandez was finally recovered when salvage operations brought the sunken tug to the surface March 24.
