Sleepy Hollow Mayor Marjorie Hsu Endorses Beth Davidson for Congress in NY 17
Campaign's Latest Endorsement Demonstrates Increased District-Wide Momentum

Beth Davidson’s campaign for Congress in New York’s 17th District has been endorsed by
Sleepy Hollow Mayor Marjorie Hsu, the latest indicator of her leading position in the Democratic primary race against Republican Rep. Mike Lawler.
"I proudly endorse Beth Davidson for Congress in NY 17." said Hsu. "As mayor of sleepy Hollow, I have seen how national policy decisions affect real families – especially immigrants, working women and young people who deserve a safe, healthy, hopeful future. Beth shows up for us and is a tireless advocate for advancing strong, environmental protections, protecting under-served communities, and defending our basic human rights," she noted, adding, "Beth brings the integrity, courage, and deep commitment to community that this moment demands. She will be a powerful voice in Congress for the values that make our region – and our democracy – strong".
"I'm so proud and grateful to have the endorsement of Mayor Hsu, an accomplished executive and dedicated civic leader whose Sleepy Hollow Democrats' slate swept in November delivering wins up-ticket in Mt. Pleasant," said Davidson. "I'm so excited to work together to flip NY 17".

With endorsements by over 150 grassroots community leaders and the Rockland County Democratic Party, Davidson's endorsement from Hsu demonstrates continued district-wide momentum for her key battleground seat Congressional campaign. Davidson, the only Democratic candidate in the
NY-17 congressional race who has won previous election campaigns against Republicans and holds public legislative office, is currently an elected Rockland County Legislator and former Nyack School Board Vice President. A thyroid cancer survivor, she has advocated for affordable healthcare and is working to lower the real costs families face. She and her husband, Jeff, moved to Nyack 20
years ago, where they are raising their two children, both of whom attend public school.
