Sleepy Hollow's Holy Cross Church Sold to Holding Company
Amelia Holdings Corp. is buying the property, located at 114-118 Beekman Ave. and 117 Cortlandt St.

The former Holy Cross Church, located at Beekman Avenue and Cortlandt Street in Sleepy Hollow, is being sold to Amelia Holdings Corp. for $685,000 in cash, according to The Journal News, based on court filings.
A listing for the property on the commercial real estate site LoopNet said the asking price had been $800,000.
Sold were former church rectory, the former parish hall and the church.

“Existing vacant buildings are suitable for adaptive re-use or site can be redeveloped for a multi-family or mixed-use project,” reads the listing on LoopNet.
The Journal News reports that at least a portion of the property will now be used as a day care facility.
