Sprain Brook Parkway Lane Reduction Expected: DOT
The lane reduction is expected to last until November.

TARRYTOWN, NY — The state Department of Transportation announced August 1 that motorists should be aware that due to bridge construction work, the Sprain Brook Parkway, between Route 100C and Interstate 287, in the Town of Greenburgh, will be reduced from three lanes in each direction to two lanes in each direction beginning around Monday, August 21. This lane reduction is expected to last until Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, when traffic will be returned to its typical pattern.
The DOT said significant traffic delays are anticipated. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes, avoid travel at peak hours when possible and consider alternate transit options.
