Before filming began at the Bellwood Avenue home where they are making a Stephen King movie A Good Marriage, the alarms were sounding – much to the dismay of one neighbor. Read more on that here.
Now, some days into the 15-day production schedule, a fire alarm was recently activated.
Vektor Security reported to Sleepy Hollow Police that a fire alarm was sounding at 429 Bellwood on May 20 at 6:45 p.m.
The police sergeant reported that a smoke machine in the basement being used for the filming set off the alarm.

Crews were setting up for another day of filming on Tuesday morning, but were mum on their progress or any sign of Stephen King, who usually spends a day or two on the sets of his books-made-movies.
“They make us sign nondisclosure agreements,” said one man when asked about how things were going as he pushed a cart of equipment down the Philipse Manor sidewalk.
One production assistant said there were about 10 more days of filming to go.
Crews took over Eldorado West diner in Tarrytown one recent afternoon for a flashback scene to the beginnings of this “good” marriage. Later in the marriage, the wife discovers her husband might be a serial killer.
