Pros(e) of Pie, modeled loosely after The Moth (but with pies!) is launching at W@tercooler on Saturday, June 1st, from 8-10pm Come enjoy the stories, and rate the refreshments! Listen, or participate, as storytellers and humor writers tell true tales of their own lives. Between readings, indulge in sampling a variety of pies, then vote for your favorite! The $10 entry fee includes a slice of pie, beverages, great entertainment, and a free raffle ticket to win a pie to take home! The first show will include storytellers and writers from W@tercooler's recent Humor Writer’s workshop with comedian Ivy Eisenberg, along with a few other local folks who tell a mean story, and bake a flavorful pie. Additional Pros(e) of Pie sessions are being planned for the summer and fall. The next one will be July 13th at 8pm.
