Tarrytown To Collect Christmas Trees During January

TARRYTOWN, NY — It's that time of year. During the month of January, the Tarrytown Department of Public Works will be collecting Christmas trees every Thursday on yard waste collection day.

The tree should be placed to the curb the night before pick up.

Village officials said to not put the tree in a disposal bag, and the tree must be free of any decorations, such as lights and ornaments.

Trees with decorations or in disposal bags will not be collected.
