Tarrytown Says Some Free Parking Available During Snowstorm
Two lots at the train station have been set aside for residents who don't have driveways.

TARRYTOWN, NY — With another snowstorm headed toward the Hudson Valley, Tarrytown village officials want residents who don't have driveways to know that they can park for free at the train station.
Residents can park at no cost in Lots A or D at the train station beginning at 6 a.m. Thursday until 6 p.m. Saturday.

Village officials said the snow will be in the range of 4 to 10 inches and may begin as early as 4 a.m. Thursday. The storm could continue into early Friday morning.
As of Wednesday afternoon, no snow emergency has been declared and alternate side parking remains in effect.

The sanitation schedule for the rest of the week has not changed.
Residents are reminded that salt or sand must be applied to icy sidewalks. Don't plow, snow blow or shovel snow into the street. Put snow on lawns or next to sidewalks and buildings.
