Traffic Stop Yields Pot Possession Accusation
Police said she had a little more than an ounce of marijuana.

TARRYTOWN, NY — A traffic stop in upstate New York led to the arrest of a Hudson Valley woman. State police said Jenny Garcia, 20, of Tarrytown, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.
Troopers said they stopped a car shortly before 10 p.m. Feb. 9 on I-90 in the Town of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, for a vehicle and traffic violation.
Garcia was found to be in possession of about 34 grams of marijuana.

She was arrested and taken to the Fultonville barracks.
Garcia was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Florida Court Feb. 21.
