Troopers Charge 'North Tarrytown' Resident With DWI

State Police in Troop K said they removed 21 impaired drivers from the roadway during the weekend of Oct. 20.

SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — New York state police reported arresting 21 people accused of impaired driving over the weekend of Oct. 20. Among them was a Sleepy Hollow resident.

On October 21, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Norman E. Hutchins, 43, of North Tarrytown, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in the village of Croton-On-Hudson, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, troopers said.

North Tarrytown officially changed its name to Sleepy Hollow in 1996.
