Volunteer Opportunity Of The Week: Sleepy Hollow Lit Fest
Every week, Patch will spotlight a volunteer opportunity somewhere in the Hudson Valley.

Each week Patch will be highlighting a volunteer opportunity — or two or three — in the Hudson Valley. This will be a chance to help your community and be an opportunity to give back — in perhaps a way you didn't consider before.
And if you have some need for volunteers, be sure to let us know by emailing michael.woyton@patch.com.
This week we are putting the spotlight on the Sleepy Hollow Lit Fest which will be held Saturday, May 18.

According to organizers, at eight venues around Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, more than 100 authors and artists will take part in free readings, panels, signings, performances, music, open mic and other family friendly activities.
And the Lit Fest is going to need volunteers. As described on the Volunteer New York! website, the opportunities include event set up, author liaison, event tent, greeters and event clean up. Go here to get more information about volunteer opportunities or to sign up to help out.
