Yonkers Pair Accused Of Drug Possession, Sale

The execution of a search warrant yielded more than a kilo of cocaine and $22,500 in cash, police said.

TARRYTOWN, NY — A Yonkers man and woman were accused selling drugs in Westchester County. The Greenburgh Drug & Alcohol Task Force said Lually Paulino, 36, and Yesenia Nunez, 31, both of Yonkers, face multiple felony drug charges as a result of an observed hand-to-hand cocaine sale by task force officers.

With the assistance of a state police K9 and her handler, Paulino, who police said was the seller, was found to have about 21 more grams of cocaine.

Information from the arrest led to the execution of a search warrant at Paulino's home in Yonkers.

The search warrant, executed by the Yonkers police and the Greenburgh task force, yielded the recovery of more than a kilo of cocaine, a hydraulic kilo press, a quantity of Humatrope, which is a human growth hormone, and about $22,500 in cash.

Nunez, who lived at that location, was arrested.

A White Plains resident who was, police said, involved in the original sale of cocaine in Tarrytown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and released on an appearance ticket.

Paulino was arraigned in Tarrytown Court on the following charges:

  • Third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony
  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, intent to sell, a felony.
  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, more than 1/2 ounce, felony

He was sent to the Westchester County Jail on $10,000 bail pending his next court appearance March 5.

Paulino is expected to be arraigned in Yonkers City Court on a later date on the charge of first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, intent to sell, a felony.

Nunez was arraigned in Yonkers City Court on the charge of first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, intent to sell, a felony. She was sent to jail without bail until her next court appearance March 19.
