Yonkers Woman Arrested in Greenburgh, Charged with Drunk Driving

An early morning traffic stop led to other charges.

Greenburgh, NY — Police arrested a Yonkers woman early Wednesday morning on drunk driving charges.

Eillen P. Boland, 25, was stopped around 1 a.m. on I-87 for a traffic violation, police said.

She was found to be intoxicated and was taken to the Tarrytown barracks, where her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0,18 percent, police said.

Boland was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, as well as multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

She was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets to return to the Town of Greenburgh Court July 22.
