Axial Theatre’s SAFEHOUSE New Playwrights Series continues on Saturday, June 27 at 4 PM with a staged reading of A Little More Than You Wanted to Spend by Chris Clavelli, directed by John Hickok and featuring Duane Rutter.
This darkly funny and deeply personal new play explores grief, resilience, and the surprising ways we find meaning after loss. Through humor, honesty, and storytelling, Clavelli transforms life’s most difficult moments into a moving and unexpectedly uplifting theatrical experience.
The reading will take place at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 8 Sunnyside Avenue, Pleasantville, NY.
SAFEHOUSE is Axial Theatre’s new play development series, dedicated to supporting playwrights through professional staged readings and audience engagement.

All are welcome to enjoy a grand parade featuring the 10th Mountain Division Marching Band, Maria Regina’s marching band, Yonkers Pipe and Drum, our local volunteer fire departments, police departments, Girls and Boy Scouts, and more! Parade is followed by community booths, local food stands, and live entertainment at the American Legion Hall Field on Garrigan Ave Thornwood.&nbsp; Please contact us if you are marching.
