A Simple but Succulent Seafood Combination
Broiled combination platter is a popular item at Land & Sea.

Three Village has its share of top-rate eateries, but there's something to be said for terrific take-out, too. The broiled seafood combination platter at in Setauket is a hearty example.
The Dish: Broiled seafood combination platter ($18)
What's Inside: A dinner-sized assortment of seafood seasoned and cooked just right: fat bay scallops, jumbo shrimp, crabmeat and a flounder filet. They're accompanied by a baked potato or vegetable, which always come from Ann Marie's Farm Stand in Setauket.

Eat this Because: It's a satisfying dish overall. The flavors of fresh chopped garlic, white wine and adobo along with a light touch of butter and a squeeze of lemon combine for a pleasing balance. You can't argue with popularity, either. "Hands down, no question, this is the dish. Everybody gets this," said owner Raymond Ortiz.
Side Dish: The platter takes 15 to 20 minutes to prepare since it's cooked fresh to order, so factor that in when you call ahead. You can ask for the homemade cocktail and tartar sauces on the side, but you might not even need them.
