SOUTH SETAUKET, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect they say swiped around $85 worth of unspecified goods from Target in South Setauket on Sept. 1.
The man swiped the goods from the Pond Path location at around 1:10 p.m., and bolted from the scene in a white SUV, according to police.
In images from security video, the man can be seen wearing a black baseball cap and T-shirt.
The crime has been classified as petty larceny, according to a police news release.
Officers from the Crime Section of the 6th Precinct in Selden are investigating.
