Congratulations to Our Community's Newest Eagle Scout

Legislator Kara Hahn recognizes RunDa Tian for earning the rank of Eagle during his Court of Honor held in East Setauket

Suffolk County Legislator Kara Hahn joined the family and friends of new Eagle Scout RunDa Tian during his Court of Honor on Monday, June 1, 2015. For his community service project, the Troop 377 Eagle from Stony Brook planned and made improvements to Stony Brook’s Forsythe Meadow County Park and Nora Bredes Preserve. The enhancements include removing and replacing existing decaying fences, installing a new fence around the parking area, building a gated entranceway for the trail and placing a hiking stick holder for patrons.
