Gelinas Science Olympiad Team Takes 1st at State Tourney

P.J. Gelinas Junior High School’s Science Olympiad team captured first place during the New York State Tournament on April 18 in Syracuse.

In one of their best performances, the team won medals in 22 out of 25 events as they competed against 35 of the best teams in the state. The team will now compete in the National Tournament, which will be held at the University of Nebraska in May.
