Kids, join Emma Clark Library's Dr. Seuss-themed Winter Reading Club! Why?

  • Read ANY books! We don’t tell you what to read – it’s up to you!
  • Weekly raffle prizes!
  • No pressure…come into the Library as little or as much as you’d like!
  • Reach your goal and receive a ticket for the Jester Jim Show in March!
  • And for the parents – when kids report the books that they’ve read, it gives them confidence and encourages a lifelong love of reading.

Sign up through Beanstack (same online program as Summer Reading).

Visit emmaclark.beanstack.org or stop by the Children’s Dept. Registration is on-going throughout January & February, so don’t worry if you’re “late” to register.

For kids birth – 6th grade. Read any books you want and log them in by March 13.
If you can, come to the library weekly to show us what you’ve read and receive a raffle ticket. The more weeks you come in, the better your chances of winning one of the raffle prizes!

Here are your goals:
“Thing 1 & Thing 2” Pre-Readers: For children that have books read to them. Your goal is at least 10 books with your grown-up.
“Green Eggs & Ham-ers” New Readers: For children that are just starting or have recently begin to read by themselves. Your goal is at least 5 books.
“The Grinch’s” Confident Readers: For the children who read on their own. Your goal is at least 2 books on your reading level.

When you reach your goal, come into the library and receive your ticket for the Jester Jim Show on Saturday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m. You need to be entered in the Winter Reading Club to enjoy the show.
