Ward Melville High School’s athletic department is currently accepting nominations for 2014 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees.
The program, which started several years ago, pays tribute to former Patriots and honors their athletic careers, both at Ward Melville and beyond. This year’s induction ceremony will take place during homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 25.
To be considered for induction, nominees must have graduated from Ward Melville High School 10 years prior to the nomination, distinguished themselves in their athletic career, served as a positive role model for student-athletes and overcome a major life obstacle or challenge related to their athletic ability.
