Pawsitive Vibes at Ward Melville

Jet, a specially trained therapy dog through Canine Companions, is the newest member of the Ward Melville High School team. Trained by new Assistant Principal Fred Falcones, Jet made his first official visit to Ward Melville, where students and staff had the opportunity to meet him and welcome him to the school community.

Jet will be at Ward Melville on Thursdays throughout the school year, bringing plenty of tail wags, smiles and companionship to students and staff. As he becomes a regular part of the school community, Jet will provide opportunities for connection, comfort and a little extra support throughout the school day.

We’re excited to welcome Jet to Ward Melville and look forward to all the positive moments he will bring to our school this year.
