Red Knights Motorcycle Club Plans 'Teddy Bear Run' In Brookhaven

The town will co-sponsor the Nov. 21 event.

On Sunday, November 21, the Town of Brookhaven Youth Bureau INTERFACE program will host the Red Knights Motorcycle Club New York Chapter 26 Teddy Bear Run. Each year, the club holds this event to collect donations of new Teddy Bears for thousands of needy children in Brookhaven Town.

Registration starts at 10:30 am at the Terryville Fire Department Headquarters located at 19 Jayne Boulevard in Port Jefferson Station.

The ride kicks off at 12:00 noon and ends with a special lunch at Painters’ Restaurant, 416 South Country Road in Brookhaven. Non-riders can meet at Painters’ for lunch at 1:00 pm. Riders and passenger’s participation fee is $20 or $25 without a teddy bear.

The first 100 riders receive a free t-shirt. Anyone is welcome to drop off a donation at either the Terryville Fire Department Headquarters or Painters'.
