Three Village Athletes Compete at Smith Point Triathlon
Leonard Carolan of Setauket takes second place in his division.
With the participation of over 550 triathletes, Event Power LI's first annual Smith Point Triathlon was held at the Smith Point County Park, Shirley, last weekend.
The course consisted of a 500 meter swim, a 20K (12.3 mile) bike ride, and 5K (3.1 mile) run.
Beneficiaries of the 2010 Smith Point Triathlon are the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Wounded Warriors of Long Island.
