Ward Melville DECA Competes At International Contest
The DECA team had eight members qualify and attend the 2019 International Career Development Conference in Orlando.
From Three Village Schools: Ward Melville High School’s DECA team had eight members qualify and attend the 2019 International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida.
More than 22,000 high school DECA members from the United States, District of Columbia, Canada, China, Germany, Guam, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Spain participated in this competition. During the event, Ward Melville students fiercely competed in various business topics including written tests and multiple role-plays, in which three Ward
Melville members won international medals in the following events:
Jade Eggleston and Jessica Guo – had a top 10 placement in Buying & Merchandising Team Decision Making within the final round of top 20 teams Ashley Zhang – had a top 20 placement in Hotel & Lodging Individual Series
