Ward Melville Learns To Code For Fun
Ward Melville High School students and staff recently took part in a series of interactive activities within the school's library.
From Three Village Schools: In celebration of the global Hour of Code event, Ward Melville High School students and staff recently took part in a series of interactive activities within the school’s library.
With the assistance of high school librarian Dr. April Hatcher, participants learned the fundamentals of computer coding through video gaming activities, such as Angry Birds, Minecraft, Flappy Bird and Dance Party. The initiative helped to demystify the science of coding and helped to prove that anyone can develop the skills to code.
