Ward Melville's Linguistic Olympiad Winner Honored
Ward Melville High School student Luke Randall was honored by the Institute for Advanced Computational Science.

From Three Village Schools: Ward Melville High School student Luke Randall was honored by the Institute for Advanced Computational Science at Stony Brook University as the first-place award winner in the 11th grade division on the 2019 North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad and a fourth-place award among Long Island students overall.
NACLO fosters the development of scientific and analytical thinking about language and holds an annual linguistic puzzle solving contest. Students utilize logic skills to learn about 21st century language processing, its consistency and its diversity.
