• Man arrested on drug charge in Scipio (newportdispatch.com) — A Trumansburg resident has been charged with misdemeanor drug possession after Cayuga County deputies responded to a dispute over an outdoor fire in Scipio on August 2. Deputies say they found suspected methamphetamine while detaining him on an unrelated Ithaca warrant, and he’s due in Scipio Town Court later this month.
